The day after I posted about Lil Pebis, the kids caught on to details of the story that I hadn’t regarded as terribly significant. First, we got this text from Lindsay over the family group chat (which, yes, is called The Goons):
So credit to Lindsay for parenting Graham. On a related note, Silver Lake Regional High School teachers, concerns about Graham’s behavior can be directed to Lindsay Laws at Lock Haven University. PM Lauren or me for contact info.
Then I got a call from Lucia later in the day, which included this observation: “I mean, it’s true. You don’t parent Graham. Would you have ever let one of us three name anything ‘Fuck Europe’? I think not.”
I responded, “Objection. Asked and answered.”
She did not withdraw the question, and no one sustained my objection.
