Thursday night, Lauren and I combined to make a great dinner of roasted chicken thighs and vegetables atop Cajun rice. I made Dobby his own small plate, and its reception was, well, underwhelming.

He’s been expressing a strong preference for red meat lately, so much so that he turned his nose up at chicken McNuggets the next evening.
Lunch, though, was another story. We had plenty of leftovers, so I made a plate for me and one for Dobby. All was the same with one exception—I added ranch dressing to Dobby’s. The result?

That’s right, folks. As with two year olds, you can induce your domesticated wolf to eat his vegetables by adding ranch dressing.
